  June 24, 2023 - 13% ABV. Pale straw appearance. Coravin pour. Paired with sushi.
  
  Notes of lemon, pear, blossom, wet stone, flint and a small kiss of oak. Mouthwatering acidity keeps this light and fresh on the palate. Medium length finish.
  
  This isn’t a showstopper by any means in the complexity department, but it’s a straightforward Chablis that’s easy to understand and a solid daily crusher at a decent price point from a respectable producer.

  March 8, 2023 - Tasted at the Travellers on the sommelier’s recommendation.
  Colour: med gold, bright, clear.
  Nose: full, fresh, v good fruit and ripeness with class.
  Taste: light/ med body, rounded, great depth and character from good varietal flavours, balance leading on to long finish, ripe, good fruit.
  Overall, very impressive.

  February 4, 2023 - A pale medium yellow. Glowing. Fine, long, precise, some weight and great structure. Serious stuff, clean, fresh and alive - you get the picture - I rather liked it. A salty tang to accompany the citrus fruit, lovely now but an easy hold.
  
  As an aside, I met the winemaker recently and asked why the bottles were a bit fatter than normal, and which makes them hard to rack. He replied that he likes a longer cork, which in turn means that the neck of the bottle needs to be a bit longer, which results in the base of the bottle being fatter. It is true that the cork is a long one, but the stacking issue remains!

  May 28, 2022 - Singing today with fresh calamari. Last bottle was a year ago, this is just as good - fresh, vibrant, and with admirable citrus and clean chalk purity. A quality bottle that I expect will last much longer based on this showing.

  April 21, 2021 - A delight. Fresh mineral Chablis 1er Cru, a sense of place that I have found lacking too often in bottles from here. Fine, long, precise. Great acidity, excellent stony taste. Wonderful young in 2021, expect it will get better for many years - I may need to invest in more now I know how good it is at 4 years old. With pan-fried Scallops, stunning stuff.
