March 4, 2023 - Ready to go after a one hour decant. Juicy, deep and complex with very fine tannins. Really superb.

August 11, 2022 - It is not often a wine beats a Saxum Paderewski but this did hands down

Pop and pour and just wonderful. My guests were looking up on the internet where to find it. Have 3 left and will only share with others. In a perfect place right now. If you have why wait?

June 8, 2021 - Fantastic! Really in a sweet spot right now. Picked up some meaty characteristics, like smoked or cured. Went great with a beef brisket.

January 23, 2021 - Obviously still very young. Meaty wine here even with a decant. Black cherry, blackberry, dark plum, and blueberry fruit. Creamy texture and very extracted. Notes of earth, graphite, black licorice, dark chocolate. Long finish...just needs time. My understanding is that this vintage was the last as this fruit will now be going into the Oubile Cuvee.

December 5, 2020 - Big flavor with depth. Beautiful blend with plenty to offer. The ALC felt higher than 15.1% but a wine that Paso-enthusists will appreciate.

October 15, 2020 - Two-hour decant. A gorgeous nose of spice cake is the highlight here. On the palate, lots of spiced oak and dark fruit with saline minerality and medium finish. These extended-age Bookers have quite a lot of oak and I'm not sure I prefer them, at least in the young stage, but still delicious.
