October 3, 2021 - A bit acidic at opening, both on nose and palate. After an hour the VA was gone and replaced with a flowery bouquet. Grenache blueberry with Syrah violets very present. Still a bit of acidity on mid palate, but also creamy plummy and soft with some tobacco and cedar wood. Medium spicy finish.

February 21, 2021 - A late late LBH lunch at 6pm: Lighter and more accessible than the Abelard and the Héloïse, and 1/3 the price. Starting to think we prefer this. Blueberry and raspberry, light-bodied, with poise.

August 5, 2020 - First Wednesday Wine Club (Napoli in Bocca, Haberfield): Served blind.
Charcuterie, biscuit, quite meaty but with a contrasting jubey black fruit melange including berries and plums. Also a smidge of tomato leaf here. In the mouth it has slight residual sugar, alcohol warmth, chewy drying, grainy, slightly green tannins. Nah.
I guessed Languedoc, 2016, Southern Rhone blend.
