June 15, 2019 - A day in Napa (Napa Valley, California): The nose is deep and polished with a more refined sense of self with tones of dark red cherries, black raspberries, black currants, bell peppers, licorice, black tea, leather, and some tobacco notes. This shows off a real expressive side that shows off some savory fruits with a plushness to them. The Full bodied feel is balanced and lengthy with medium acidity and silky, high tannins. While this is fairly accessible right now, this does feel like at least 5+ years will greatly benefit it to let the more elegant nature to fully emerge.
