September 26, 2021 - Medium lemon/ gold color
Medium plus aromas of ripe citrus and unripe stonefruit as well as white florals - dominated by lovely petrol/ wet rock notes however
Medium plus bodied with palate of ripe citrus/ fresh herbs and intense minerality - palate is broad and creamy suggesting some lees contact
Medium plus acidity and moderate phenolic bitterness with a great length
Just a great wine here, influenced greatly by some wonderful decisions in the winemaking - taking a less aromatic variety and giving it some skin contact and lees contact to broaden the palate!

December 23, 2019 - Gold color, filtered with viscosity
Medium + aromatics of petroleum and mineral. Secondary note of ripe yellow apple.
Medium + palate with medium + acidity, medium phenolics and medium alcohol. Slightly tart yellow apple, lemon, salinity and minerality.
Finish is medium + with a nice round mouthfeel and lingering phenolic bitterness.
A beautiful example of macabeo with a unique aromatic profile and nice balance.1 person found this helpful Comment
