September 20, 2023 - Ruby color with medium legs. Oak, spice and mixed berry on the nose. Plum, tobacco and leather on the palate. Medium smooth finish with a little acidity.
February 10, 2023 - This was “fine”. It didn’t blow us away as we had expected for a bottle we aged, and that should have aged ok until now. Very light in flavor. Last sips started to get dry after it had been opened for 2 hours. Probably could have used more decanting time. Opened at a French restaurant and paired with pork and short ribs.
January 8, 2023 - Fresh. Red berries and plums. Tobacco and hints of leather. Soft tannins at this stage but not flabby at all.
November 16, 2021 - Still young but after a couple of days an improved presentation was experienced. Early on was big but unstructured. Later days displayed complexity and desired evolution.
April 16, 2021 - Meh. Had a glass in a bar, so take that with a grain of salt (was in SLC). Almost no nose. High acidity muted ruby color, long legs. No fruit taste left. Could be oxidized in bar, but rather blah
February 14, 2021 - Don’t listen to the bad hype, this bottle is solid. Give it 60-90 minutes. Balanced fruit with leather and graphite. I already checked wine searcher for more. Easy 91+. 2-3 years left without question.
January 2, 2021 - Loved this one! Will buy again.
May 2, 2020 - Give it about 90 minutes to open up.
April 25, 2020 - This wine should be about $18.00. Dull, low flavor, thin. Notes of bell pepper were about all we could come up with. Lots of alcohol. Pass.
December 17, 2019 - Very nice
