April 15, 2019 - I am reiterating my notes from December, and adding to it.

Bright red fruits and an acidic presence which immediately hits you on the tongue. At first there was a thin feel of more bright fruit but then the backend spice reminds you that this ain't no simple diagnosis of a thin wine. Quite complex.

Well produced and if I still better today than 4 months ago

March 1, 2019 - Very generous considering how young it is. Black fruits and earth. Half of this bottle got lost in the back of the fridge for the better part of a week - it was still really singing 5 nights in....

February 5, 2019 - Decanted prior to serving. After about 4 hours the wine really opens up with a lovely melange of blueberry, boysenberry, blackberry, and kirsch. Ripe but not jammy, the fruit balances nicely with the spice notes, predominantly from black pepper, and acidity on the palate. Some notes of eucalyptus in the finish. On day 2 more of the black fruit notes are prominent. Saving the rest of mine to open in 3-5 years, but this is delicious now with a little decanting.

January 31, 2019 - dark crimson red with a purple rim. cherry, cooked plum, and a little licorice on the nose. Bright and upfront ripe red fruit on the first sip with strong acid and a warming nutmeg note on the end. Cherry, pomegranate. full finish, and pretty long considering the subdued nature of the wine.
