June 10, 2019 - Appealling nose. Nice viscosity snd mouth feel. Good mineral/saline profile over a relatively neutral core when cool. Melon becomes more dominant as it warms. Very pleasant and good with food.

May 30, 2019 - This is an excellent blend of 60% Malvasia di Lipari grown on Lipari and 40% Carricante grown on Etna. The grapes are organic, The wine is a bright pale yellow with a gold hue. The nose is clean, fresh, with mediterranean herbs, ripe lemon and grapefruit, barely ripe stone fruit, wet stone and sea breeze. The Malvasia is vinified in stainless steel, whereas the Carricante sees a little bit of used oak. The palate is dry, but with very generous fruit and flavor intensity. The acidity is medium to medium (+) and the alcohol is medium (12.5%). This is a very well-balanced and complex wine, with intense flavors and really nice long dry and savory finish. Drink now or for the next several years.

December 27, 2018 - The wine was light lemon in colour and offered floral notes, citrus, stony notes and ash on the nose. On the palate, the wine showed lovely citrus and grapefruit flavours, juicy lemon, mineral notes, ash and maritime saltiness, with focused acidity, a mild creaminess and superb length. Fresh, mineral and maritime. A lovely, food-friendly wine! I will stock up.

November 17, 2018 - What a unique wine! Heaps of stony minerality with an occasional saline hit. There is a quince/lemon thing going on that shows both bredth and depth, but also freshness. Remarkably balanced, but a balance of fresh/dense crisp/broad mineral/heavy that I've not encountered in such a pronounced way. Will I be buying more? Yes!
