May 30, 2023 - Terrible sweet yucky mess.

February 14, 2022 - Apricot, Japanese preserved plum, pomegranate and orange zest. There’s a sweet/sour interplay on the palate. I might be okay with the (unusual) flavor combination if it were a cocktail. In a bottle of wine, nyeahh…not so much.

April 13, 2021 - Fairly dark, opaque color. Pretty closed with a strong sulfur odor initially upon opening. The sulfur blows off after some air though. Eventually, nice ripe fruit with some gamey earthiness. Medium acidity, just a hint of fine tannins on the finish. Really quite a nice wine once it gets some air, especially given the price point.

December 23, 2020 - This wine had an odd profile and seemed closed right before pouring into a decanter. Still wasn't good a half hour later. Even after 45 mins, it was not ready, and took over an hour before it finally opened up and the fruit emerged and the odd edge disappeared. Even then it was not a lush wine, but a balanced one in a more traditional style that was very enjoyable with some pasta and meat dishes. So my experience is an hour decant made a huge difference with this wine at this stage and suggest you do the same.
