  August 10, 2022 - A food friendly Provence blend....
  On nose: oak and cassis.
  On palate: above flavours follow through, with notes of damson plum skin, coffee,mesquite charcoal, a curious citrus finish with the tannins ,but with a full body.
  Primarily Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, with merlot, grenache and a small percentage of Spanish tempranillo.....at 6 years still young, after a 2 hour decant....but fleshed out nicely with Chicken pot pie and roasted potatoes.....can certainly age.

  December 2, 2021 - 47% cab sauv, 42% syrah, 8% merlot, 3% carignan
  
  Deep purple still. Nice clean fruit, fresh, reasonably concentrated. Some backbone. Still rather primary. Very drinkable, but for my taste I'd like a bit more development, so a few more years to the next bottle.
  
  Interesting to have a French cab sauv/syrah, different from an Australian one. The cab sauv is dominant, I'd be interested to try one with a bit less.
