December 24, 2021 - Poured it into the decanter and was shocked by the light and brownish color, suspecting bad storage and oxidation. Even though it was purchased by us in the Barbaresco enoteca, because Bruno Roccca had no wines to sell in fall 2020. However, after 3 hours things worked out pretty great, with a mushroomy forest floor smell, dark berries, still pretty tannic but very elegant and light. Should soften up over the next few years. Had it with traditional Xmas rabbit and mashed potatoe dish prepared by my wonderful wife Natalia.
