March 4, 2024 - Really enjoy this Pinot Noir. Darker color when pouring. Smooth with good flavor.

August 26, 2023 - Medium+ intensity nose. Primary aromas of raspberry, black cherry, cinnamon. Secondary aromas of vanilla, smoke, charred wood. Medium body, medium - tannin, medium acid, medium alcohol. Medium+ flavor intensity. Medium+ finish. Very good - pronounced ripe fruit is well balanced by the medium acid and complementary secondary characters.

July 1, 2023 - Pours just the purple side of burgundy. Good clarity, with a watery rim and a touch of bricking. Pinot funk, light cigar box, cherry, wet gravel, and potpourri on the nose. Palate brings in some bubblegum, accentuates tart cherry and plush tannins, with baking spice, leading into a long finish. Drinks like a younger wine, this could easily go for another five years, probably longer. Medium body, medium tannins, medium plus acidity.

June 11, 2022 - Complex and lovely SRH pinot from Matt Dees (what else?), featuring blueberry-cranberry/tart cherry fruit, but also notes of pomegranate and lavender and more spice. Long finish. Not seeming so young as the December 2021 bottle.

February 23, 2022 - Medium bodied. Black cherry. Pretty straightforward and ready to drink.

(The Hilt Pinot Noir Estate) Medium dark ruby color; aromatic, raspberry puree, black cherry, blackberry nose; delicious, silky textured, ripe raspberry, cherry, blackberry palate with good balancing acidity and a sense of salinity; medium-plus finish (13.2% alcohol; natural cork)
