February 13, 2022 - We absolutely loved this wine. Very balanced. Heavy, but I felt the alcohol was well hidden and balanced by fruit. Not overly acidic, but went well with pizza. I detected a sort of burnt type of aroma. Rather than being bad or distracting it added to the complexity. Looking to find more of this wine.

January 21, 2022 - The nose somewhat reveals the high alcohol; menthol, mouth wash, sweet cherry, and vanilla. More sweet cherry, ripe blueberry, black licorice, and tabaco on the palate. Tannins are strong, but elements are in balance and despite the alcohol this is enjoyable. Gave this 6 hours decant and it was ready to go. 91-92
