April 19, 2020 - Medium-Deep gold in color with slow medium legs. Golden Delicious apple, pear, butter, oak, cream cheese, vanilla, caramel, and cinnamon on the nose. Golden Delicious apples, caramel, and vanilla with a rich creamy mouthfeel. Off dry and moderate acidity.. Apple and pear that flashes to a moderately lingering oaky vanilla and cinnamon finish.
December 25, 2019 - I am not anit-oak: just more a purist who prefers to taste FRUIT in my wine. OAK is not FRUIT ! Oak is WOOD ! For those who prefer to taste the toasted vanillans of oak barrels, be my guest, my preference is for a more burgundian style where oak barrels enhance the fruit,not overwhelm it. this wine has a pleasant bouquet of honeysuckle, vanilla, peach; medium bodied with medium oak and low acidity; medium finish is a tad bitter ! Ok wine and decent QPR, just not my style. FAR from a 90+ point wine.
December 15, 2019 - See last note. This will be our 6th bottle. Very consistent. Huge vanilla on the palate. Just amazed you can get these scents and flavours - the butter, fruit and sweetness from the grape, the vanilla from the oak. Good weight and length. Superb value.
November 23, 2019 - This is ok. Bread & Butter Chardonnay are attempting to copy/duplicate the taste of Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay, but at a lower price point. This wine is very sharp in taste with an average finish. It does have a sorta buttery taste, but it definitely is not in the league of the Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay. I will not purchase again. I prefer the Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay even though it cost more.
The wine looks light gold colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like lemon and lime. It tastes like lemon and lime. The body is light. The wine has bright texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity.

October 27, 2019 - From 75cl, composite "cork". It is what it is, i.e. a big fat superoaked tropical-fruited Chardmonster. If you like this sort of thing, then you like this sort of thing. Drinkable and effectively alcoholic. 84-85P
October 7, 2019 - An american chardonnay. Color is deep golden. Nose is dominated by vanilla notes coming from oak I guess. Oak is a bit overwhelming. Palate also dominated by oak. Not much fruit. Medium low acidity. A bit boring and too heavy...
August 24, 2019 - Vin rond et beurré avec arômes de brioche et miel. Très typique comme chardonnay américain.
June 29, 2019 - Lots of oak, seriously a ridiculous amount. Interesting for the first few sips but quickly becomes overpowering.
June 23, 2019 - Huge oak, creamy and buttery on the palate, oak and vanilla on the nose. Brioche bun!
