August 29, 2023 - Supper with Frank (Loulou's bistro, Milsons Point): As this showed well I decided to take it out for supper. Paired to (exceedingly boney) Flounder. On the nose tiny struck match notes, buttery malo, peachy fruit. Rich, slight toasted hazelnut, fresh, juicy, flavours on the palate a reflection of the nose. Lovely.

July 28, 2023 - Coravin fun - 2009 Bordeaux & Random Burgundies (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Stone fruit, a little sweet spice, touch of citrus, floral notes, smidge of bacon fat. Juicy, a little tropical fruit; pineapple joins the peachy stone fruit, touch of texture, fresh, medium plus length. In a good spot. Nice.

April 6, 2022 - I enjoy buying random btls of Bourgogne Blanc. Pretty much always a bargain & a very good representation of the producer & terroir. This was no exception. Appealing citrus & salinity on the nose. Refreshing vigorous tart citrus & stone fruit & bold minerality to taste. Perhaps still a bit tightly wound even after a couple years plus in my cellar. Wish I had a couple more to follow! Very white Burgundy for a paltry $30! 90+

May 10, 2021 - very good QPR for Burgundy. quite rich in nose with yellow pulp fruits and some, vanilla, lemon, and tropical fruits. In the mouth is fresh, elegant confirming the fruits of the nose together with a well integrated orange.
    quite long, approved!!
