April 11, 2020 - This was okay, not spectacular. Developed to a nice, dark, caramel color; all of the flavors in other notes (caramel, orange/citrus, honey/honeysuckle) were all detectable. Yet it seemed disjointed and not well integrated. I had consistent impressions with a bottle I opened 6 years ago so I don't think it's a function of age. Not a bad bottle, and still fine to drink, but don't expect too much.

November 22, 2019 - Chateau Pichon Lalande-1986, 1988, 1989, and1990 (Yan's China Bistro, Walnut Creek, Ca.): Fabulous nose of apricot, orange peel, Chinese Apple, and caramel, same on the palate, medium body, lovely, gold brass color, very tasty, favorable comments from all, almost mouth filling fruit, elegant, slightly past peak but terrific, and a long, long, long, flavorful finish, 375 ml bottle.

June 12, 2019 - amber color with a fragrant sweet caramel and tangerine nose. honeysuckle and orange marmalade on the palate with a syrupy texture but a slightly short, bitterness on the finish. Needs a tangy dessert to serve with, but appears past prime. drink up!

January 6, 2018 - The first bottle was slightly incorrect, but the second one was better, very ripe, a bit chunky, a bit waxy, but sufficiently balanced; drink now if you have a bottle.

January 3, 2018 - Monthly Tasting Group EEE #066: Educational blind tasting (@ My place): In the bouquet honey and orange peel. On the palate apricots, ripe pineapple, orange and tangerine. Honey again. Overall a bit disappointing.
