  June 2, 2014 - A testament to the blender's art. Mostly merlot, but with some cab sauv and cab franc, this wine is fruit forward, without being hot. Tannins are smoothed out. Nose was fairly muted, but on the palate, it was just plain tasty. A good value.

  January 11, 2013 - APPEARANCE: Dark red, bright, semi-opaque, no sediment (filtered?), crystals on cork end - 4/4
  BOUQUET: Black fruits, mild tomato sauce; mild wood/vanilla - 11/14
  TASTE: Black Berry, Black Fruit, medium body, smooth, mild richness, light to medium finish - 12/18
  PREFERENCE: Balanced, moderate fruit, smooth, prime time - 3/4

  March 30, 2012 - Nice bottle despite being a bit towards the end of its window. Typical Pine Ridge Merlot, which we enjoy.

  February 18, 2011 - Inky, inky, inky. Did I mention this wine is dark? Interesting creaminess, with dark fruits & some nice oak. Spicy & a touch tart, this one is still in good shape. This one has been loitering in our cellar since 2008.
