June 6, 2013 - Why did I ever give up my Dehlinger mailing list position. I'm drinking my last few bottles very slowly.

This 2004 Reserve Pinot was even more exceptional than the 2004 Papapietro Perry Mukaida Vineyard Pinot which was drank just before this Dehlinger.

February 24, 2013 - Sporting a medium garnet robe, this wine has an immediately-expressive, beautiful nose of raspberries, cherries, coriander, cola and rose petals. It is medium-bodied on the palate and assertive yet rounded. The tannins are light at this point and the alcohol is well-integrated (despite being listed as 14.9%). Nicely layered flavors are dominated by red fruit. The middle palate is solid and the smooth finish is long. Despite being more than eight years of age, this Pinot is still quite youthful. That said, it is delicious now and I would not necessarily recommend deferring one's pleasure. Drink now-12/17.

February 7, 2013 - Rather light in color. Pretty strawberries and cherries. Mellowing for sure. Really nice mouth feel and taste. Won't wait long to open lone remaining bottle.
