  June 20, 2023 - Second bottle. Worse than last year. Overpowering taste of alcohol, closed, even after a decant. Day 2 was marginally better but nothing like classic Silver Oak. My concern is that the floral and typical notes of this varietal were also muted or not present. I’m hard-pressed to believe the wine will improve with time. When the alcohol fades, we may be left with nothing.
  
  I’m curious as to others, who think it is, classic Silver Oak, I think Justin Meyer wouldn’t be o pressed one little bit. Thoughts?

  May 25, 2023 - Wish, wish, wish I could score higher. Astringent as of this 2023 drinking and the lush fruit and distinct oak are buried.
