March 31, 2024 - Very good wine, even after 20+ years. Well rounded tannins, nice fruit.

December 30, 2021 - The 2002 vintage in Napa is underrated, in my opinion. The wines took longer to evolve and they have a more Bordeaux-like quality. Not an in-your-face alcohol heavy fruit bomb. The Grace Family is a good example of the 2002 vintage. It reminds me of the some of the 1998 Bordeaux's in character and taste. This bottle is beginning to show its age. Not quite as bright as the bottle I drank in 2019. Drank alongside a 2009 Pichon LaLande that was a stunner.

November 29, 2019 - Thoroughly enjoyable. Notes of licorice, menthol and cacao. Well balanced with great mouthfeel. At maturity in my view.

May 10, 2019 - I have enjoyed the 2002 Napa vintage quite a lot, these past few years. Have consumed several bottles of 2002 Insignia, Bond, PM Les Pavots, Dominus, Caymus SS, Shafer HS, etc. So age worthy and the wines are supple. The Grace was outstanding, with a very long finish. I think it is now coming into its own. Have 4 more bottles I will be enjoying over the next 3-5 years.

October 11, 2018 - This was very good. It was full bodied, rich, teeth staining, a tad sweet, and lots of depth. We happened to be sitting outside eating while we drank this and it was 87 degrees. I think this would have been much better in a cooler climate. We tend to drink less rich wines with as hot as it is here
