November 12, 2021 - Extreme fruit on day 1, varietally non-descript. Like a young Beaujolais Saint Amour. But ok. Day 2 (fridge) really different animal, much calmer, leaner, less fruit but other elements (tannin, etoh) more in balance. Big improvement. Score from day 2. Maybe there is something here to explore. HOLD.

I can’t really assess the nose due to the overpowering scent of sanitizer on my hands but medium ruby is the colour
Dry, high acidity,tannin and alcohol but only medium plus body.
Black cherry and a bit of liquorice for primaries. Chocolate and charred wood secondaries and nothing I can determine for tertiaries.
The finish is medium so QED, 4⭐️ AKA, very good especially for the $24 price.
