April 7, 2024 - A 50-50 blend of Chardonnay and Meunier. Excellent and juicy acidity, with good minerality. Drinks very well, especially with air.

June 13, 2023 - Some raw dough on the nose, the wine is searingly acidic with green apple, and a prominent note of light honey. Intense, lip smacking and rather long. Plenty of fruit left and room to run in bottle although it’s so tart I wonder how that will hold over decades - but 5-10 more would be no sweat. This has none of the fleshy breadth of 09, if pressed I would have guessed 12 or 14.

As I reflect on the wine, it is too acidic for my palate.

Bought this wine from winery. I was "disapponted". I love Le Cran but this was a bit too evolved for this young stage. Ripe fruits ans a small lack of acidity. I would drink it now or I had just bad luck with my bottle. One bottle left. 92

December 22, 2022 - Dinner with Wayne at Kevin's. Local Twin Cities beloved Chef Don Saunders killed it for our crew at Kevin's place. 11 of us were treated to a night with Kevin's spry 91yr old dad who delighted everyone! Wayne Loves Cabernet & BDX so we had some potentially monumental reds to compliment a great night while 30 below MN temps whipped at the door. Thanks Kevin! WB,KB,VB,CV,DD,JV,BB,ML,LI,CS & SS Brad's btl. I'm normally a gushing fan of Bereche but this btl showed just enough oxidative qualities to kick it out of my wheelhouse. Not horribly oxidized but disappointing from my perspective. Others will love it, so call it my problem.

December 22, 2022 - Dinner with Dad: Aged Napa, Bordeaux & Don Saunders (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Medium gold color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. This was very good showing white citrus, chalk, good minerality, there's some almond and richness, but it's pretty steely and delicious with a little oxidative twist that adds some complexity. Really good.
