March 20, 2024 - Perfectly mature. A beautiful, simple and very well crafted entry level wine. A great example of the good practice of buying basic wine from a top producer.

July 17, 2022 - ESTG does German (primarily) Pinot Noir (Seattle, WA, USA): Another one that was just doused in sulphur, made it nearly impossible to get anything from the wine.

    Toller Gutswein!!

March 21, 2021 - The German Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder) is more on the light side with high acidity and is somewhat restrained when it comes to fruity notes.

January 23, 2021 - Toasty rasberries, dried rose petals, dark cherries, and a hint of sweet vinegar on the nose. Dry salty fruit on the palate with a hint of spritz at the front and tannic back note moving into a lingering acid finish. Nose holds more promise than the palate delivers.
