January 15, 2021 - I enjoyed the 2015 MUCH more. This vintage/bottle is tight and rough around the edges with a short finish. Serviceable, but I definitely preferred the 2015 over this vintage. We will see on the 2017...

August 22, 2020 - Rich and giving. A touch short, but otherwise very nice.

June 30, 2020 - Pale Ruby color. Cherry, earth, and oak on the nose. Cherry, plum, a touch of cigar box, and earth. Medium plus acidity. Tannins are light but a tad rough. Can really taste the oak. Lacks overall balance.

June 4, 2020 - These Boedeker Finnigan Hill Pinots have been available recently via WTSO — a really good value at $20 each. This vintage is on the tight side, with splintery new French oak prevalent along with restrained fruit, plenty of acid and some tannins in the finish. A blend of Dijon 777 and Pommard clones.

May 24, 2020 - Really nice flavors and depth, with blackberry cobbler, blueberry, dark cherry, and vanilla all featuring. Earth and spice nuance. The real problem is that there’s no foil—I was hoping for some acid or tannins for the excellent flavors to play against. Enjoyed over four hours and nothing developed. Still a nice wine.
