December 24, 2018 - Coded G.G. 3-77 on the left hand side of the label, vintage 1974 imprinted very clearly on the center, 11.5% ABV. Good level, 2cm below the loose cork. Deep, murky, brown colour; nose like an imperial stout; very old palate, retains acidity and tannins, but the flavours have gone; light and slightly estery finish. Not undrinkable, but way over the hill. Not everything from Lopez de Heredia lives forever...
