March 14, 2024 - Beautiful wine. Still powerful and has more time. Cork in great shape.

August 25, 2023 - a bit more mellow/smooth than 2 years ago; goes down so easily, but i preferred the younger version

August 6, 2023 - Deep inky ruby color, full bodied and medium concentration. Nose of blue fruit, leather, light oak and tobacco. Palate brings on subtle notes of charcoal, plum, violets, cooked blueberry. Medium+ acid, medium+ tannin with well developed fruit and suggesting several years ahead. Nicely balanced though some of the tannin still needs to soften. Really nice and enjoyable mildly complex Petite Syrah.

June 17, 2023 - Pretty petite sirah. Good sized body, aromatic blue and black fruits. Little bit of barrel spice. Coating tannins, nice acid, smooth finish!

May 10, 2023 - The wine is deep purple in color with a pronounced nose of vanilla, blackberry, black cherry, black currant, rose, geranium and lavender. There's also bell pepper, cloves and a hint of meat (think butcher shop). The wine is dry with medium acidity, a high alcohol content and still tannic. It's full-bodied with pronounced flavors of blackberry, black currant, vanilla, cloves, cinnamon and the floral flavors while just showing some of the dried/cooked fruit flavors and mushroom notes from bottle development. The finish was long and pleasant. A nice wine to enjoy now but it will continue to develop for several years.
