July 19, 2023 - Drinking well and better than previous bottles. Bellpepper coming out a bit, but working well overall. Bought on release and therefore good value (would not qualify it as good value based on current prices though!). No hurry to drink, will keep another 5+ years.

July 5, 2023 - Coravin fun - Brackets of braces (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Sweet spice, a little earth, touch of dried flower, and leather, a slight almost liquorice/tar note sits beneath blackcurrant with a smidge of plum, pyrazine comes through with time. Medium plus intensity acidity, blackcurrant, the pyrazine note translates here as well, tannins are silky, integrated and offer a framework. The acid/fruit balance is slightly out but otherwise it's pleasant enough.

November 18, 2022 - Good value for 2000. It has a bit of rough edges but still enjoyable.

April 12, 2022 - Coravin fun - Durfort Vivens (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Blackcurrant, plum, sweet spice, slight herbaceous underpin, oak, caramel, the fruit a little baked. in the mouth it's juicy, savoury, a little yeast extract joins the fruit on the palate, talc textured tannins, travels long with a little liquorice on the finish. Very nice.

(Château Durfort-Vivens) Nice, subtle, berry nose; very tight, tart cherry, earthy, rounded palate with big, firm tannins; medium finish (needs 5-7 years) 89+ pts.
