November 25, 2021 - Disappointing, there is some good fruit in there but I think it is 🧊 too much covered by a reductiveness that lends an ashy and a bit feral quality, and the tannins seem a little bit green and harsh.

No filtrado.

June 1, 2021 - unique Spanish wine. Grown from 40-60 year old Listan Negro grapes in the Canary Islands in volcanic ash soil. The grape vines are pits in the ground to collect water and to protect the vines from hot Sahara winds. High acidity and tannins, on the nose new car leather. Dark fruits, leather, damp earth, minerals on the palate. One to try if you want something different.

April 23, 2021 - Suertes del Marques, Envinate & Ekonomou Wine Tasting (Mr Vertigo): The wine shows low to medium intensity, red cherry, spicy, thin oaky frame, earthy and very pleasant.
The wine shows thin palate, medium to high tannins, medium acidity, mineral, really young at the moment, astrigent but I have hopes.

January 26, 2021 - Tasted like a bad bottle... then I looked at these notes and realized that maybe that funky nose and nasty flavor was the "unique" style. No idea how Luis Gutiérrez gave this a 94. I won't score it until we try the other bottle... but that may be awhile.
