  April 16, 2024 - Nice age on this. Some browning on the rim with notes of ripe cassis and leather. Fleshy palate; soft mellow tannin and just enough acidity. Punches above its price tag and a really fun everydayer.

  November 28, 2023 - Savoury plum and leather notes seasoned with spice, and underpinned with firm tannins. Doesn’t really develop and the finish was just moderate. Perhaps, it’s starting to show a little too much age. CHP 86 pts

  February 26, 2023 - Surprisingly decent Bordeaux: cherry, tobacco, prune, smoke, dried red fruit, nice balance between dried red fruit, tobacco leaf and soft vanilla, light to medium body, solid finish.

  January 27, 2023 - 100% Merlot. Medium ruby color, aromas of ripe raspberries and blackberries. On the palate, full bodied, black fruits, too much spice (pepper) overwhelms the fruit, firm bitter tannins to finish off. 14% alcohol. I doubt if the tannins will still soften with ageing, I would have expected more, this wine does not resemble a great Bordeaux year like 2015.
