November 26, 2020 - nose: smells a bit alcohol, not great.
palate: sour cherries, very light bodied, very pleasant.
overall: this didn’t get me as much as the first time, but maybe the thanksgiving food pairings overwhelmed it? very good still, but not outstanding.
November 9, 2020 - Nice wine.
On the nose - hint of black cherry, bright red cherry, strawberry, eucalyptus notes.
On the palate, fruit appears more muscularly and prominently, with red cherry, strawberry, hints of baking spice enveloping with a nice finish.
July 19, 2020 - Light in color and weight. Picks up nicely day 2.
June 24, 2020 - The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle.
June 2, 2020 - Nice. A touch of reduction upon opening, but that went away quickly. The nose has slight earthy, floral notes and good complementary savoriness, but it’s all about soft, smooth red cherries and strawberries with cola. Tastes like it smells. Soft and fruity with texture and some more complicated components.
April 5, 2020 - very earthy aroma. on the tongue, lots of bright cherry, wonderful. a bit of hibiscus
July 21, 2019 - Beautiful bright red and translucent color. Fresh red fruit and earthiness. Well balanced and delicious. Scribe makes great wines.
March 25, 2019 - Love Scribe's pinots! I am not a fan of the "no body" pinot noirs that tend to taste like colored water. Scribe's pinots have flavor and body. Enjoyed this bottle for "movie night" with girlfriends, accompanied by the gourmet dish of popcorn, and it was delicious!
