  February 29, 2020 - Some oxidation on the nose and fairly dark in color. First taste reminds me of a mild dry sherry, but with much more fruit, freshness and acidity. I'm not sure if it's meant to be this way or there's some pre-ox, but I quite like the wine. Smells like it will be a heavy unctuous wine, but on the palate it's fairly light-bodied. While there is a lot of acidity, it doesn't leave you puckered on the back end. Lots of fruit smells, particularly roasted pineapple. Really easy to drink, with a nice long finish.
