  August 12, 2023 - Pale ruby red with pink-orangey rim. Bright cherry, blackberry, blueberry, plum, oak, spices and tobacco. High acidity. Open, balanced and complex. Long finish. Prime to drink now, and should improve for a few more years but not much longer - fruits burning out and risk of off-balance with the acid.

  Quite perfumed nose - strawberry, raspberry, rose, some sweetness
  Palate is quite structured - delivers the fruit of the palate, but still a fair bit of alcohol bitterness on the finish which throws things off.
  
  I could see this improving a bit more but not to anything spectacular

  March 12, 2021 - Nose: Red currant, cranberry, some clove spice and sweetness.
  
  Palate: ripe cherry, raspberry, plum, a lovely floral note - perhaps violets, on the finish some oak kicks in with moderate tannins cut through with some acidity.
  
  Pleasant but maybe not all of the chorus are singing from the same song sheet just yet. Some more time to integrate would be good
