Here’s how you manage vineyard problems! The nose still has a varietal gooseberry character, with apricot and quince. The medium/sweet palate has medium/high acid and medium weight, which give it depth and persistence; apricot and honey, quince, all with a sauvignon twist. It’s not overwhelmed by botrytis; it has a fresh crispness, with an almost dry (or at least clean) finish.
