July 21, 2019 - Very deep, colour. Good fruit and lots of vanilla on the nose and quite sweet at first but the acidity (good) came through with time. Pleasant drinking for the price. Next day, the wine was full of fragrant mulberry fruit with food-friendly but prominent damson skin tannins and long juicy acidity. Good with bbq steak and sausages. It is apparently another Malbec from Catena according to the Tesco website (but no mention on the label). 87-
