  February 21, 2021 - 1/6. I think this is a wine that you either love or hate and I am certainly in the former camp. While some have compared it to Burgundy Chardonnay I think it is quite distinct. It reminds me of the Albillo from Dominio del Aguila in Ribera del Duero, both in terms of aroma and flavour, although I've not tasted them side by side so that is from memory.
  
  Pale lemon in appearance. On the nose there is quite a bit of oak, vanilla, lanolin and a whiff of peach. The palate has citrus, oak and vanilla flavours and is quite smooth in texture with medium body. It is very pure. Medium finish. I have no idea how this will develop or for how long but I have high hopes and will aim to space out the rest of the case to see how things go.

  June 7, 2020 - Brilliant wine - great tension and fruit, acidity balance - will develop very well for a long time! Easily on a bourg 1er Cru Level
