September 30, 2023 - I have had several amarone and this was the most expensive and most disapointing. It was far too sweet for my taste and I have had several others, especially in Veneto wineries that were much better. Not sure age would help

Und das nach 10 Jahren und aus der kleinen Flasche (0,375)! Respekt! Aus 15 verschiedenen Rebsorten gemacht, darunter 4 weiße. Der kleine Bruder des großen „Harlequin“. Unverändert einer der gefälligsten Weine, die ich kenne. Toll. Leider nicht mehr ganz billig…(50-60€!, aber der Harlequin ist noch viel teurer)…

July 2, 2019 - Superbe étiquette, mais c'est surtout pour le nom que j'ai acheté, le protégé de Quintarelli.
Assemblage de 15 cépages en IGP. 15% alc.
Pas le meilleur accord avec pâtes pesto et sauccisses. Il aurait mieux accompagné une viande relevée.
Robe grenat sombre.
Bouquet typique de la région valpo, assez intense, sur des fleurs séchées, cherry blosom, terreux, cuir.
Bouche un peu plus riche que son Valpo standard, de mémoire. Fruits bien murs, cinq épice, cannelle douce. Chaleur alcoolique légère. Longueur moyenne.
C'est bien. Un peu trop chauffé et moderne à mon goût.
Me donne l'envie de retenter le 60-20-20 qui me semble en donner plus pour moins cher.
