December 31, 2023 - delightful as usual...rich pineapple, tangerine, and candied ginger flavors. Full bodied, this wine lingers a long time on the palate.

December 3, 2023 - 15.1 ABV but well balanced actually. Nice ripe fruit but stays fresh with great acidity and stony structure. 93 quality

September 12, 2023 - Pushing the envelope on my Aubert drinking window, at least for the chardonnay. This is starting to get to a place that I like, but as good as it was, I couldn't help thinking a few more years would have made this wine even better. But when the wife smiled on the first sip she took, it didn't matter. I'm glad I opened it.

June 18, 2023 - Beautiful wine. And went impeccably well with chicken and veggies tomatillo enchiladas. This wine pours a hazy medium straw color. Nose of banana nut bread, white flowers, sweet juicy yellow fruit. Entry is a delicious balance of white pepper acidity, medium to full bodied, actually got more opulent and obtunded in the middle with beeswax and honeysuckle, herbal fruit finish and typical juicy yellow fruit which is classic Aubert. Honestly this 2017 Eastside is a wine that my inventory said I didn't even have, so it was selected as the Father's Day wine because isn't that kinda what fatherhood is all about? 😂😂. Definitely a good wine in a good place right now, with more appreciation to come without a doubt.

May 20, 2023 - Just an amazing bottle of wine. The nose is flowers and pear. The palate is white berries, flowers, pear, brioche, a touch of apricot, a touch of vanilla and just a hint of oak to keep it all together. The finish is just long and beautiful. I have one bottle of this vintage left and I am going to hold it until my wife's birthday dinner in September where I will match it against a Montrachet and see which bottle will win the night. It should be interesting considering the difference in the price points. In the meantime 96+ for last night

March 3, 2023 - PnP. Medium yellow/gold. A bit closed and tight initially but then opens nicely with air. Not particularly open on the nose with mostly tropical fruit notes, but the palate is wonderful; deep complex fruit and enough acid on the finish to balance it out. Lovely wine.
