January 14, 2023 - It has been two years since my last bottle and the time in the cellar has been helped this wine become more refined. Nice blue fruit, cedar and spice notes were followed by some very nice minerality/graphite notes. Pritchard Hill is just such a special place for cab's.

January 14, 2023 - Opened and into the decanter.
Small glass on open - Nose smelled like Pritchard Hill, palate much like Prichard Hill. Great mix of mineral, herbal and red fruit notes along with a medicinal/eucalyptus note, though the mid palate was hollow.
45 min was all this needed to hit on all cylinders. The nose leapt out of the glass with red and dark cherry, incense, perfume, iron ore, and herbal elements. Palate was a red fruit delight with more iron and herbal note, by now the mid palate filled in and the medicinal/eucalyptus note disappeared. A nice mineral streak held it all together.
My initial thought was this was a baby Ovid with a Bordeaux nose. Tannic and structured, but the structure holds everything together. The tannins are well managed and complementary to everything else. QPR is off the charts, especially for Pritchard Hill.

June 16, 2021 - Fantastic wine. Give it a couple of hours to breathe and then is terrific with a nice steak.
