December 20, 2020 - A lot of Cali Chards are good, really good. But Grgich goes the extra mile and gives you a strong sense of terroir in every sip. When I drink this, I know exactly where I am (and yes, I first visited Mike in his winery garage back in 1980 -- he was already a star.) This vintage was even better on night two than night one. So it's got a good long life ahead and will become even more spectacular.

December 18, 2020 - Drinking very well right now. I really pick up on the pineapple and apple notes.....but can taste others that I cannot articulate. I have not had any of this wine in my inventory in a while.....a real mistake. I am a bit sentimental about this wine, as it was the first really good wine I ever had when I decided I needed to learn about wine so that I would not look silly when entertaining clients in about 1978......yes, 1978.

December 5, 2020 - Absolute nectar bomb. Served with carcouterie at hacienda del sol. Wonderful wine for tucson desert!

November 27, 2020 - Phenomenal Chardonnay , with everything balanced and just the right amount of notes of pineapple , mango, ripe yellow nectarines and apples , a touch of honeysuckle and butterscotch, with an appropriate acidity to keep it refreshing on its own and food friendly.
A wine that is evidently crafted by a master winemaker
