February 4, 2021 - From a 375ml format, p&p, bright red, discreet nose of red fruits, slight funk, after 2 hours more dark fruits & Gevrey like, good concentration, elegant, not very Chambolle but still a delicious juice
January 6, 2021 - From 375ml. Apparently the fruit that doesn’t go into the Cuvee Ultra from La Combe d’Orveaux plot goes into this. Dense, black fruited style, some tea leaf tannins and spice. Not the typical Chambolle but still enjoyable. Needs a lot more time even from a half bottle.
June 3, 2019 - PnP. Je perçois bcp d'élevage cette fois-ci (moins d'aération?). C'est un peu dérageant et rend difficile de bien décerner les arômes et saveurs. 88-89pts
May 21, 2019 - Très beau village. Fruits concentrés au nez et en bouche. Finale un peu courte et sèche mais tout de même un très beau village. 90-91pts

June 27, 2016 - Monday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Clos de Tart, Lambrays, Bonneau du Martray and Perrot-Minot (Cote d'Or): Tasting at the domaine. 40% Combe d'Orveau 1er and 60% Bussieres. Bright red cherry aromas and flavors with very good concentration for its level. Fruit driven start, texturally driven finish really shows Chambolle nicely. Bright with subtle spice. Impressive.
