September 19, 2022 - This is really nice, combining pretty fruit (raspberry most prominently) with earthiness that is typical Sicily. Plenty of tannic structure and the balance to age but drinks well now too.

March 28, 2022 - big round sweet and sour, very cerasuolo in its presentation.
The sweet frapato pokes thru. Almost too much.
Maybe still a little too young. Great length and mouthfeel.

May 16, 2021 - Big step up from the straight Gulfi Cerasuolo- much more depth- bigger sour dark cherries at the core with lots of lift on the finish. Great mouthfeel - great pizza wine

March 13, 2021 - Quite a nice wine and a really wine to pair with a rustic tomato based Italian soup. Nice balanced fruit and the right amount of tannins. Decent long dry finish with a light-is mouthfeel. Wine has some forest and leather as well as the right amount of oak. I'm going to stock up on a couple more bottles.

October 30, 2020 - Totally different on the nose than the two Etna Rosso wines I just tried. Earthy black & red fruit. Then savory accents on the palate - I am liking this quite a bit tonight. Clearly more rustic than the Etna Rosso wines, but enjoyable despite that. My better half is making a pizza and a calzone for dinner tonight, and all three of these wines should work fine.

May 25, 2020 - Very nice - not the most complex wine, but one that is very satisfying to sit back and drink. It's a sunny afternoon, I've got Italian Sausage on the grill, am sitting here eating some bruschetta, and all feels right in my little corner of the world right now - despite the virus!
