NOSE: raspberry, spice, black pepper, bourbon-maple syrup, smoky, closed, flat, nose is great
PALATE: fruit, dry (in sweetness - not drying in tannins), dark cherry, black pepper, pepper spice, chili, cinnamon, too menthol
ROH: 15.5%

April 2, 2022 - Put this in the “Wish I’d Have Bought More” file. After almost 30 years on the mailing list, this might be my favorite Turley ever. Like a marriage between Rhone and Bordeaux. Lush with macerated blackberries, blueberries, apricot pit, smoked meats and a sprinkling of herbs in the finish, this offering is incredibly balanced and satisfying. Begs for another sip. A natural for tri-tip or beef stew. Soft tannins and a long finish. An easy “98” in my book. Drink now. Outstanding.
