December 8, 2023 - Truly singing right now--dark berry fruit, roasted meat, earth, spice, long finish.
October 3, 2023 - Notes similar to previous bottle. Wine definitely benefits from drinking at appropriate cool temp.
September 22, 2023 - Bright red and purple fruit flavor. Juicy but not as deep or co,mplex as some previous vintages of this wine, or other zons from Turley. Medium body, medium long finsh, low tanin.
May 21, 2023 - Big, balanced, bordering on elegant, in your face, very pretty fruit, and quite alot of spice. Very good zin, though I do not drink zin much. Showing very well, at this stage.
March 15, 2023 - PnP. Powerful alcoholic nose with raisin, fig, and a hint of brandy. Dark overripe blackberry and tart black currant on the palate with a note of tar and then some juicy red berry and cranberry. Finish brings firm tannins, dry leather, black fruit and a slight coffee ground bite. Improved with air but still comes off overblown.
February 19, 2023 - Solid feisty zin character. A balanced mix of red berries, white pepper, and oregano.
August 12, 2022 - This bottle was much more typical for Dusi. Fruity, big and balanced.
July 31, 2022 - As usual dense and delicious. Classic strong flavored profile. Opened up significantly with air, this will be better in a few years. A big bold Zin which is exactly what I'm expecting, and want if I'm drinking zin
