it is not possible that the worse italian is representing a weird sense of ranking in wine! ... in a domain of solid perception invalidated and tainted by this disaster of nature whose palate is made by stone or a personal convenience?! I wonder ! all these 98 in sequence to low quality of wine, it is crazy!

Italian Wine is such an interesting subject and an amazing different angle coming out on the trail of the majestic French one, and in this difficulty we cannot be represented by a weirdo or a liar in worst case!

February 5, 2019 - I had this wine over 2 night. Night one, I had it alone and drank shortly after pouring. It was quite bad (high 70s). Night two, I let it decant for a bit and had it with dinner. It was much better. Not great, but much better. Probably an 85-87. Once dinner was over the score dropped back down. It had a 98 rating from Luca Maroni - Annuario dei Migliori Vini Italiani and was very inexpensive. I don't know this reviewer, but will avoid them in the future. I was trying it as a potentially good choice for large gatherings where I open lots of bottles, but this does not pass the test. For me, a good wine is a good. Food can enhance and change the experience, but shouldn’t be required.
