July 5, 2019 - This alluring Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is delicious, with a medium-to full-bodied texture, and gorgeous nuances of red fruit medley, wet earth, white pepper and nutmeg. A long and impactful finish, with some bay leaf. Delightful today, this could still use a couple more years of bottle age. Drink 2021 - 2030.

June 20, 2019 - Just so good. Restrained in a William's Selyem kinda way with pleasant bright fruit with an exceptional mouthfeel I haven't experienced with other PN's. Well done.

June 18, 2019 - Excellent wine with rich fruit. Smooth on the palate and medium plus acidity. Really enjoyable now. Cherry and cranberry leaves your mouth watering for more.

May 4, 2019 - 36th Birthday (Noreetuh): Wine #3. We couldn't resist and popped this open. The 2017 Williams Selyem Russian River Valley is still pretty tightly wound, but there is a ton of potential here. A nose of plums, dark cherry, and tobacco leaf that follow through on the palate. For a village-level wine, this is quite impressive, with firm tannins and great structure that will support medium-term cellaring. I am really loving the 2017s, especially the estates that largely picked before the Labor Day heat wave.
