March 26, 2024 - Yum. A bit of sour and acid. Cut the confit perfectly. Still had fruit after seven years. It has a front. A mid and a ten second plus finish. Wonderful to sip and explore. Fun and good wine.

November 9, 2023 - Big generous brambly and sour cherry fruit, quite rich. Very smooth, rounded and balanced. Full bodied. Good acidity and fine tannins. The layered complex long finish dries on the palate. Drinking perfectly, will endure for many years but doubt it will be better than now.

July 4, 2023 - W some tofu dish. Sanne Pronk visiting. Good solid pinot that is very well made. Good fruit and length.

April 13, 2023 - Seemed to be in a sweet spot--plenty of dark cherry fruit in a lush mouthfeel with a complex finish of graphite, allspice, earth.

October 20, 2022 - Cherry and raspberry on the nose and up front. Nicely balanced with sumptuous mouthfeel. Some pencil shavings, pine and forest floor and a long finish. Lovely.

September 24, 2022 - Typical WS cherries explosion, but with additional nuance. Paired with planked salmon, this could not have been better.

August 18, 2022 - On the positive side it was not an over ripe mess typical of so many pinot's from the russian river. Unfortunately there was nothing outstanding either. This wine is serviceable.

August 15, 2022 - Same notes from almost a year ago - lackluster across the board with no improvement on night two.
