April 16, 2023 - Pop and pour. Nice nose of herbs and sweet berries. Palate was all sweet and sour off putting at first but this blew off after about 20-30 min and turned into a solid wine. Plum, Provençal herbs, white pepper. Chalky mouthfeel. Finish is a little short. Pleasant and fair value at $25 paid. Would decant this minimum of 30 min if you have it to let that sweet and sour funk air out.

August 27, 2022 - Received as a gift and was an used enjoyable casual wine pairing with bbq pork ribs.
Recommend decant. I started a slow ox for 30 min and the wine gave up no aromas and closed palate. Another 30+ min of decanting and the wine began to sing, releasing very pleasant perfume of pepper spice, vanilla, and blackberry/ blueberry.
Palate was medium bodied, acidic but not overly. Dry. The finish, while not long, was very enjoyable. I rate this higher than what I see on Vivino.
I would buy more if I knew where to find it. Remember to decant.

August 26, 2021 - Had a 2017 Gigondas a few weeks ago, and this Crozes-Hermitage was similarly savory, with lots of fresh tobacco and, by its second day, even some early hints of game (in addition to some roasted red fruit). Nicely balanced wine, and interested to see how it might develop over a short-term lay.
