June 8, 2020 - Pale lemon gold, nose of light lemon oil, peach, tropical fruit, the palate is slightly exotic, like lemony viognier crossed with juicy fruit gum, the finish is clean with a little pucker, and pleasingly long. A blend of brought-in and domain grapes, no way of telling what was the intent but very tasty to me
February 29, 2020 - Really interesting wine made of grapes that are not commonly blended. Combination of both fruit and savory flavors. Really great mouthfeel with the fuller feel of Rhone whites.
This is an interesting wine that punches well above its price point.
January 15, 2020 - Attention sur les cépages: clairette, chardo, pinot blanc, riesling, aligoté…
Et ce qui est magique, c’est l’harmonie, tant géographique que minérales, des cepages… ils se complètent pour offrir un vin riche à l’attaque, presque confit (a peine, rond tout du moins), puis qui s'échappe en bouche comme de l’eau de roche; la mineralité saline et subtilement acidulée compense et le rend carrément digeste!
L’aromatique reste plutôt fine, sans exubérance, florale, fougère, pointe de citron confit, de bonbon anglais, de pierre chaude, tandis qu’en bouche il pertube d’évoquer tour a tour le sud, la savoie (!) l’alsace ou la loire!!
Joli, propre, singulier!
