April 1, 2019 - Nose: bramble, a bit jammy, but definitely Beaujolais
Palate: it is eerily akin to drinking unsweetened blackberry pie filling. Even the mouthfeel is plush, reminiscent of the cornstarch-infused fruit. The result is not unpalatable by any means, but I can’t escape the feeling that I’m drinking dessert. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Long length, tasty finish. 88/89 pts
