May 12, 2023 - In der Nase viel Blaubeere, etwas schwarze Kirsche, etwas Pflaume.

March 5, 2023 - Everything you could want in a Syrah for less than $50.

January 13, 2023 - While youthful now, the wine is still very approachable. Distinct and precise notes of plum, cherry, lavender, orange zest, leather, bacon, and smoke. On the palate, the wine fills the mouth; the tannins remain a touch angular, but are beginning to integrate. The finish is long with bacon and mocha. This is just all around a good, solid tipple. Double decanted with air-time in the first decanting for about 45 minutes before returning the wine to the bottle. With some sediment. 13.5% alc. With country ham, assorted blue and truffled cheeses. 01.13.23. Recommended.

October 1, 2022 - Deep, dark, brooding. Not a fruit bomb. Many savory, stemmy notes.

Decanted all day long prior to dinner, and it needed it!

One left, and I'm not touching it for 5 years, at least.

Drank in conjunction with a WA syrah. It was fun to compare and contrast.
